This one is at the top of my "to-be-read" pile, I'm going to start it as soon as I finish my current book. I'm not completely sure what to expect from a book that's based on such a tragic event in history, however it's still something I want to read.

I went to a Titanic exhibit around 10 years ago that had artifacts from the wreckage and other things on display.... It was extremely interesting.

I have been enjoying reading some of the books of the Bible in different translations this year. Each month that has 31 days I have been reading Proverbs in different translations. Also Galatians, Ephesians, Colossians and 2 Corinthians. I'm looking forward to your review of the Understanding Scripture book. I'm currently re-reading How the Read the Bible for All It's Worth by Gordon Fee (and someone else).

This kind of novel is not my usual reading fare, but I wanted to branch out a bit, so decided that Veiled Freedom looked like a good choice. I was not wrong. Nor was I disappointed.
The novel is told from three distinct points of view, flowing nicely and not at all confusing. This gives the reader the chance to discover just who the main characters are and what motivates them. Though the identity of the third person is not revealed until well into the book, the reader does glean a good sense of who he might be.

This book looks great!!! I am currently (slowly-but-surely) reading A.W. Pink's Exposition on the Gospel of John!!! It is a massive commentary, but it is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. And I am loving it so far! (I've just finished John 1).

I do think that we're prone to either extreme--either give the Devil too much focus, attention, power, etc....or we act as if he's not real or doesn't exist. I'm reminded of a Keith Green song... "No One Believes In Me Anymore."
