I'm an avid reader of various genres: Christian non-fiction, biographies, classic literature, Christian fiction, historical fiction, military, history, some contemporary mainstream fiction, poetry.
My top 5 favorite books to read are: biographies and memoirs, Biblical history including textual criticism and archeology, history---especially books on Civil War, World War I, World War II, Middle Ages, Tudor History, Early American History.
Some of my favorite authors are: Oswald Sanders, David Platt, Francis Chan, Arthur W. Pink, William Barclay, John Piper, Max Lucado, J.B.Meyer, John Stott, Robert A. Peterson, John MacArthur, George MacDonald, Catherine Marshall, Peter Marshall, John Eldridge, Anne Graham Lotz, Charles Allen, Andrew Murray, C.S.Lewis, Warren Wiersbe, Edgar J. Goodspeed, Ray C. Stedman, H.A. Ironside, F.F. Bruce, Billy Graham, Leland Ryken, Neil R. Lightfoot. All that I've mentioned are Christian non-fiction authors.
Some of my favorite Christian fiction authors are: Kathi Macias, Liz Curtis Higgs, Kathy Herman, Jane Kirkpatrick, B J Hoff, Lynn Austin, Athol Dickson, Catherine Marshall, and Suzanne Woods Fisher.
I began blogging about books and reviewing in the Spring 2007, and had no idea way back then that I would still be blogging and that this endeavor would be such a big part of my life!
