The text for the OT is Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia, 5th edition.
The text for the NT is the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece, 28th edition, and the United Bible Societes' Greek NT, 5th corrected edition.

As a comparison, the ESV by Crossway (2011 text edition), uses the Masoretic-Biblia Hebraica, 2nd edition 1983, and Greek text of Greek NT, 4th corrected, and Novum Testamentum 27th edition.
They've also used for reference the Dead Sea Scrolls, Septuagint, Samaritan Pentateuch, Syriac Peshitta, and Latin Vulgate.
The CSB states it uses the, "optimal equivalence as its translation philosophy." They seek to use the original text but want the text to readable.
The intention of the translators on gender language is, "to translate the Bible faithfully."
